Kevin Mundie
Director

Kevin Mundie brings a wealth of oilfield operations and services expertise to Dove Energy Group Limited. He is 51 years of age.

Kevin’s career spans more than 30 years, and has worked in a variety of senior management roles for service companies including Weatherford, Vetco, and Certified Oilfield Rentals Limited. His range of operational expertise covers drilling rigs, oilfield equipment rentals, mining, business development and marketing.

He has managed oilfield projects in a number of countries worldwide, including the Middle East & North Africa, and is currently based in Dubai.

 


David Montgomery

Non-Executive Director
David Montgomery is a Director of the Group. He is 57 years of age.

David has 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in Petroleum Engineering and Joint Venture Commercial Management , spanning the North Sea, Thailand, Nigeria, Syria, Brazil and Yemen, mostly with Unocal and laterly with Dove Energy. He also has extensive commercial expertise in oil export terminal operations, and was mandated by the Sullom Voe Terminal owners to negotiate the terms of various delivery, storage and export agreements.

David is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London and he is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He holds a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Geology from Nottinghan University and an MSc in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, London.


 


Philip Edward Maxwell
Director, and Chief Executive Officer

Philip Maxwell joined Dove in 2008, and he leads the Group, and its subsidiary companies. He is responsible to the Board for achieving the Group’s Business Plan objectives.

Prior to joining Dove Energy, Mr Maxwell has worked in the oil and gas industry for more than 34 years in a variety of roles, ranging from upstream new ventures, to managing oil & gas production companies. He has worked on projects in many of the world’s basins from offices in the UK, Ireland, Australia, Oman, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Dubai. He spent the first 20 years of his career with BP, and has also worked with Pennzoil , Ramco, Amerada Hess, and Dubai Petroleum.

Mr. Maxwell holds a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Physics from Southampton University, UK.

 

Andrew Hurst
Non-Executive Director

Professor Andrew Hurst has held the Chair of Production Geosciences at the University Of Aberdeen since 1992. He is a petroleum geologist with broad exploration and production geosciences industry experience from 1981 to 1992 in both Statoil and Unocal.

Andrew’s awards include the Geological Society of London’s William Smith Award, 1993; the European Association of Geoscientists & Engineers Wegener Medal, 2004; and the American Association Of Petroleum Geologists Distinguished Service Medal, 2007.

He has had a very distinguished career of past service on many oil & gas industry organizations. Andrew is currently the Vice-Chair of the AAPG Publications Committee; a member of the Norwegian Research Council Evaluation Committee PETROMAX, and a member of the AAPG 100th Anniversary Committee.
