On 7th February, 2010, ZPEB Rig 919 was released from Bayooot-7 after completing the well as a new producer after an extended period of testing. The well was drilled to a total depth (TD) of 3684m MD on 19th January. The primary target, the fractured granitic basement, was encountered 91m high to prognosis with a total basement penetration of 655m. The well was completed with an Electrical Submersible Pump and tied back to the Bayoot production facilities.
