Work Programme A 270 km 2D dynamic seismic survey was acquired in 2006 to identify prospects in the north eastern section of the Block. Following processing and interpretation, a well location has been picked for 2008/2009 drilling.
The existing 2D seismic dataset was re-processed and mapped in late 2005/6 and the first exploration well, Maree-1, was drilled in late 2006 to a TD of 1830 in the Ordivician. The well was suspended with oil shows and testing in being evaluated.
